Melanie Baringer, Hologram Salon's owner and Master Stylist, has made a big name for herself in the beauty industry via hard work, kindness, an intoxicatingly fun attitude, and an absolute dedication to her craft.  She is the one in charge and manages to have a full clientele on top of ownership duties. Education is at the center of Melanie’s heart with her lead role as Head of Education at Hologram, where she ensures that each and every stylist is excelling at their craft by constantly seeking further education about hair care, new products, clean beauty and more.

In a former life Melanie was an academic. She went to UGA on a full academic scholarship, graduated with degrees in Sociology, Women’s Studies and Library Science, then worked as Science Librarian for the university. She loved her work, but the pull to hairstyling and care was too much to be shelved (get it?). She didn’t miss a beat in switching careers when given the opportunity to apprentice under the esteemed stylists at Bob Salon. After 10 years of perfecting her craft in the top salons, she opened Hologram and the rest is history in the making.

With an amazing eye for every strand of hair, Melanie has a down to earth approach, whether she is working in the salon or styling for a show. When she isn't at the salon, Melanie is playing with her two rescue dogs, reading a good murder mystery or spending time with her solid group of friends.
