Aftercare

brushing

brush hair gently, starting at the ends and working up to the root. use a designated extension brush. avoid excessive pulling or aggressive brushing.

washing

gently wash hair extensions with a sulfate-free, color safe shampoo & conditioner. avoid applying conditioner directly to the bond as it can loosen the application. be gentle with scalp conditioning on the application site. rinse with cold water to seal moisture into your cuticle. use a deep conditioner every 2 weeks.

drying

apply a leave in conditioner or serum to damp hair. we do not suggest air drying; use a hair dryer to ensure a smooth finish.

styling

apply a heat protectant to shield hair from heat damage. a blow dryer, flat iron, or curling iron may be used. use a hair oil consistently as our scalp only produces enough natural oils for our natural hair, so you will need to supplement with a hair serum to allow continued moisture for your extensions.

sleeping

never go to bed with you hair wet. sleep with your hair in a low ponytail or braid. sleep on a silk pillowcase.

coloring & toning

we cannot guarantee the quality of the extensions that require color treatment, after your original color matched hair. the use of chemicals may damage the extensions.

swimming & fitness

we do not recommend swimming with your extensions. the risks include: hair discoloration, absorption of unknown elements, tangling & matting, & excessive dryness. if you do choose to swim with your hair extensions, please know that you are doing so at your own risk.
