Ladies, the 60s, 70s, 80s and beyond never looked so good!

Gents, your silver fox look is working!

First off, let’s start with a shout-out to the grays! If you didn’t already get the memo, gray hair is totally in style these days. Heck, even the young kids are adding gray or silver (AKA smoky ice) to their highlights or going full-blown pearly. So, as you mature you can feel confident in your own skin and hair.

Maturing is a striking (and sexy) thing. Like whiskey, wine, fine cheeses, balsamic vinegar and cast iron skillets, some things really do get better with age. We’re not trying to compare you to a frying pan, we just want to recognize that with maturation comes wisdom, a wealth of experience and a stronger sense of self. Boiled down, you give less F-s and you rock your way of doing and being. You do you!

But, hey, the graying process isn’t always as ideal or uniform as we’d like it to be. We get those gray patches and sometimes the salt and pepper just doesn’t shake out consistently. And sometimes, we need to ease into the silver, giving ourselves a smooth transition before we go all the way with the gray. For these situations and so many more, we have the marvelous gray blending technique.

So, what is gray blending?

Basically, it’s like gray camouflage. It’s a low maintenance color technique that hides the gray by adding in other colors that are similar to your hair’s natural shade. This way it appears less gray, silver or white and creates a smoother transition to these lighter shades. The gray will still be in the mix but won’t be the dominant color. Think of it like adding more pepper to that salt.

Because every head of hair and hair color is unique, there’s no universal method for gray blending. You’ll work with your stylist to figure out what’s right for you. Just tell us what you’re looking for and we’ll work it out together, whether it’s a full-coverage job or integrating the grays into your natural look.

Highlights, lowlights, babylights, foilyage, balayage, hair painting, permanent, demi-permanent, we got what you need. We’ll find the most natural-looking way to blend in your gray.

Just book a consultation with a stylist today and you’ll be on your way to the gracefully graying you.
