What Your Salon's COVID Protocols Should Be

Salons in the time of a pandemic.

It sounds like a bad reality TV show, doesn’t it? Well, it’s our reality now and we’re doing everything we can to take safety and wellness seriously.

Here at Hologram Salon, we work our tooshies off every day on our safety protocol to make our salon a place where you can relax, escape the stress of the day and feel 110% safe.

If you would have told us at the beginning of 2020 that we’d be introducing extreme health and safety protocols to our salon, we would have given you a thick dose of eyebrow. But here we are. It’s been a strange, testing, toilsome year. We’ve gone through the process of shock and fear and now we’ve adapted. It’s taken some time to adjust to the “new normal” but we’ve come out the other side and we’re safer and more careful than ever.

We wanted to take some time to detail the COVID-19 protocols we’ve been implementing. We also want to encourage you to ask any salon that you enter what they are doing to keep you safe. You deserve an oasis to escape to and during the pandemic you also need to know that your salon is keeping you safe.

COVID-19 Protocols at Hologram Salon:

  • Actively checking temperatures of all clients on arrival

  • Social distancing provisions are in place across the salon so that no stylists or clients are less than 6 feet apart

  • Appointment only, with reservations spaced out and staggered so that there are not too many clients in at one time

  • At arrival, utilize the hand sanitizing station

  • We ensure the entire salon is sanitized and thoroughly cleaned daily

  • We clean all surfaces in between each client

  • Everyone in masks, fully covered (none of that nose-out, half mask stuff)

  • Ability for no-touch client checkout

  • On our closed days, we go the extra mile and disinfect EVERYTHING including repotting plants and cleaning the HVAC system

We get it. These are anxiety-inducing times. We want to do everything we can to ease that stress so you can feel safe and taken care of. Know that your health is our top priority (along with your hair, of course!).
